Steps to create a basic blog:

To set up a blog you must first have an existing email account. You can use an email from most any site (i.e. yahoo.com, gmail.com). I would recommend using a gmail account. Some future activities will require a gmail account.

Enter a Blogger Password (8 characters or more).

Enter a title for your blog. This usually describes the purpose of the blog.

Enter a URL for accessing the blog from the Internet. This address must be unique. Click the Check Available link to verify that you are creating a unique URL.

Select a template. This can be changed later.

Set your privacy settings. Please do not allow your blog to be located by search engines.

Next you will enter a short post. View your blog page.
